Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

How do I create an account?
Click "Create Member Account" from any page, fill in your details, and verify your email. Once verified, you can browse Stock Cars right away — a refundable deposit unlocks Japan Auctions, Korean Cars, and live bidding.
Do I need an account to browse listings?
Japan Auctions and Korean Cars require a signed-in account with an active deposit before you can view any listings. Stock Cars is different — anyone can browse it freely with no account needed, but you'll need to sign in before sending an inquiry about a specific vehicle.

Bidding & Deposits

How does bidding work?
Once your deposit clears, you can bid on any open lot up to your bid limit. Bids are placed against the live Japanese auction, and you're notified right away if you're outbid or win.
Is my deposit refundable?
Yes. Your deposit is refundable if you don't win a vehicle, minus any amount already applied to a purchase. Contact our support team to request a refund.
What is an auction sheet, and why does it matter?
Every vehicle listed through a Japanese auction house comes with an original auction sheet — an independent condition report covering exterior, interior, and mechanical grading. We never bid on a vehicle without one.

Payments & Shipping

What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer is our primary method for deposits, invoices, and balances. Full bank details are shown on your Deposits page once you're signed in.
How long does shipping take?
It depends on your destination port and shipping method (RO-RO or container) — typically 4 to 10 weeks door-to-port after loading. Your contact will confirm an estimate for your route.
Can I track my vehicle after I win a bid?
Yes. Your My Cars page shows every stage of the process — payment, loading, shipping, and arrival — so you always know where your vehicle is.

Korean Cars & Stock

What's the difference between Japan Auctions and Korean Cars?
Japan Auctions are live-bid lots sourced directly from Japan's major auction houses. Korean Cars are fixed-price, ready-to-buy listings sourced from Korea's Encar marketplace — no bidding required.
Are Stock Cars different from auction vehicles?
Stock Cars are vehicles Japonic Trade has already purchased and has in hand, ready to ship immediately — real photos, a fixed price, and no waiting for an auction date.

Support

Do you have physical branches I can visit?
No — Japonic Trade operates as a direct, online-first team without local branch offices. See our Branches page for how we support you without one.
How can I reach support?
Use the Contact Us page, email us directly, or reach out on WhatsApp using the details on your Deposits page. Our support hours are Monday–Friday.
