1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of japonictrade.com, our mobile app and our services, provided by Japonic Trade B.V., Vaartweg 8K, 4905 BL Oosterhout, the Netherlands (KvK 85517429). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
2. Our service
We help customers import cars from Japan auctions and buy fixed-price cars from Korea. Depending on the service, we handle bidding, purchase, export documents, shipping and delivery to your chosen port. We also offer other services listed on the website, such as dry ice cleaning.
3. Member accounts
- You must provide accurate details and keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Access to Japan auctions, Cars from Korea and Recently Sold data requires a registered account and may require an active deposit.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the service or copy our listings with automated tools.
4. Bidding and purchases
A bid you place is a serious offer. If your bid wins, you are expected to complete the purchase and pay the invoice. The detailed bidding, deposit and cancellation rules are set out on our Auction Rules page and form part of these terms.
5. Prices and estimates
Cost calculators and price estimates on the site are guides only. The final amount is shown on your invoice. Exchange rates, shipping rates and fees can change.
6. Deposits and payments
Deposits, payments, refunds and invoicing follow the rules on the Auction Rules page and your invoice. Payments are made to the bank details shown on your invoice or through the payment providers offered on the site.
7. Shipping and delivery
We arrange shipping by RO-RO or container to your selected port. Transit times are estimates. Import duties, taxes, registration and local compliance in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.
8. Vehicle information
We pass on the information provided by auction houses and sellers, such as inspection sheets, grades, photos and mileage. We take care to present it accurately but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the direct damage you suffer, up to the amount you paid us for the service concerned. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by events outside our control.
10. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The website content, design and data belong to Japonic Trade or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape or resell our listings or data without written permission.
11. Privacy
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to another court.
