Step by step

  1. Choose a suitable car. Tell us you are buying for the UAE so we look for GCC-spec or export-compatible cars. Right-hand-drive Japanese-domestic cars are normally not accepted for registration.
  2. Buy and export. We buy the car at auction or from stock and handle the export paperwork in Japan.
  3. Ship to Jebel Ali. The car is shipped RO-RO or by container to Jebel Ali or another UAE port.
  4. Customs and registration. Pay customs duty and VAT, complete the required inspection and register the car with the local traffic authority.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import any Japanese car to Dubai?
Not always. UAE registration normally requires GCC specification and left-hand drive, so the model and market version matter. Ask us before you bid.
How much duty and tax will I pay in the UAE?
Customs duty is typically 5% and VAT is 5% of the declared value, plus registration and local fees. Rules change, so ask us for an estimate for a specific car.
